The impact of the growing digital industry in the region has led to the development of a new business awards. The North East Digital Awards have been designed to recognise and celebrate digital advancement within the North east in a unique and practical way.

They’ve been funded by One NorthEast and developed by The North East Regional Portal’s head of e-business Pascal Fintoni. The awards are showcasing the best of the region’s talent and not only celebrate the winners but reward everyone who is shortlisted by offering invaluable exposure on the official website

There are three broad categories which are: Digital Users, Digital Suppliers and Digital Innovators. With each of these divided into sub-categories there are over 30 different awards up for grabs.

The Digital Awards website is an interactive forum and social community for both visitors and awards participants. Once shortlisted, organisations will be able to update and maintain their own pages.
