A teaser trailer of a blockbuster action film made by North East filmmakers can be seen on-line.

The Tournament stars Robert Carlyle, Ving Rhames, Kelly Hu and Ian Somerhalder. It was created by Jonathan Frank and Nick Rowntree while at the University of Teesside, and is directed by former Cleveland College of Art & Design student Scott Mann.

The film was shot in Bulgaria and Tyneside last year and while a release date has yet to be confirmed, it is thought that it should be hitting the big screen towards the end of the year.
