Northern Film & Media offers funding to a wide range of media literacy projects in the region through its Social Impact Fund. The fund helps individuals and organisations engage with audiences and communities across the North East.

Applicants to Social Impact Funding streams must have a social impact as their primary focus.

For applications over £3,000 there are funding deadlines throughout the year. The 2008 funding deadines are:
• 30th July for the 24th September Panel
• 8th October for the 10th December Panel
